The Seamaster 28 offers outstanding space, specification and great value for money and will sleep up to six people in comfort with the option of two further berths in the cockpit. There is a practical L shaped galley and a very spacious wet-room for a boat of its size. Hot and cold water, heating, shower, full cooking facilities, fridge, 240v shorepower, folding windscreen and stereo CD player are all fitted making Vera III an ideal boat for entertaining, either in the main saloon or the large cockpit. She has an economical Honda 40hp outboard engine that has just been serviced and a re-conditioned Vetus bow thruster to help manoeuvring in tight spaces. Accommodation

The aft cockpit can be accessed from either side and has wrap around seating, position for a pedestal mounted table, infill boards and cushions to form an occasional double berth with fuel tank, LPG, equipment, battery and stowage lockers beneath the seating. There is a large lazarette locker beneath the floor containing the Eberspacher heater and diesel fuel tanks with lots of space for general stowage. A raised helm’s position on the port side with a double width seat that hinges forward to access the locker beneath. There is teak effect cockpit flooring and the cream vinyl cockpit upholstery and black fabric canopy are in very good condition.
A midships companion way with built-in steps leads down to the cabin-:
A double under-deck berth with windows to the cockpit and side is accessed via the galley on the port side.
Galley – L shaped with drawer, cupboard and eye level storage, charcoal laminate work surface, stainless steel splash back, stainless steel sink and drainer, mixer tap, oven, fridge and hob.
Dinette and saloon – U shaped seating with storage beneath, dining table on a hydraulic pedestal that can be lowered to make an infill for a double berth, cream cushions and backrest. Starboard side built-in sideboard unit with storage cupboards and drawers.
WC & shower – starboard side wet-room compartment, waterproof walls, moulded vanity unit with sealed locker doors, stainless steel bowl wash basin, mixer tap with shower head and hose, shower tray, bathroom cabinet, manual sea / pump-out toilet.
Forward seating and vee berth, storage and access to water tank and bow thruster beneath, half-height hanging locker to starboard, position for a pedestal table, infill panels and cushions for a double berth, windows and deck hatch.
The cabin interior is fitted in veneered plywood with hardwood trims, fawn carpet side linings, beige suede head linings, brown pelmets, cream upholstery and curtains and teak effect flooring.
Cabin headroom is 6’3″ (1.90m) / WC and shower compartment headroom is 6′ (1.83m).

Construction

White GRP moulded hull, non-slip decks, superstructure and bathing platform, alloy framed hatches, folding windscreens and cabin windows with tinted glass, stainless steel pulpit, hand rails, bathing ladder, deck fittings and canopy frame, black Titan polyster canopy with zipped panels, alloy and grey PVC gunwale fender. Hull antifouled May 2024.

Truma BM10 LPG water heater with thermostatic controller, 2 x 39kg Calor Gas propane bottles, Eberspacher Airtronic warm air cabin and cockpit heater with thermostatic controller, 2 x portable diesel tanks, fire extinguishers, fire blankets, Clipper speed and depth log, water and waste tank gauges, Thetford Duplex LPG oven, 3 ring LPG hob, CO alarm, smoke alarm, RM69 manual sea toilet (with change over valve to holding tank), anchor and chain, mooring ropes, fenders.
