Description

Tiddy Oggie is a sort of reverse layout Semi traditional narrowboat built in 2006 by Staffordshire Narrowboats and fitted out by Border Boat Builders.
The paintwork is in reasonable condition and she was last blacked in September 2022. The cratch cover and Pramhood were new in 2022.
The rear deck, including the semi trad cockpit, measures 7’8”. The head height in the pramhood is very generous (not measured) and the engine, an Isuzu 42, sits under the deck boards. There are speakers in the cockpit from a stereo in the galley.
Steps lead into the galley. This measures 7’6” and utilities comprise of a three burner gas hob, oven & grill, a microwave, a 12v fridge with ice box, stainless steel sink with drainer, and plenty of storage. On the port side of the steps is the electrics cupboard, and on the other is a cupboard for hanging coats etc.
Forward of the galley is the dinette area. This converts into a spare double berth and has storage under. There is a cupboard above it and a glazed side hatch on the port side adds light and air.
The 6’6”walk through bathroom is next. There is a quadrant shower, a glass circular basin, a cassette loo (with 4 cassettes), and a washing / drying machine.
The 9’4” bedroom is forward of the bathroom and has a fixed double (6’3”x4’) and has storage under. There is a good sized wardrobe at the foot of the bed, and a cupboard over (with reading lights under).
The forward cabin is the saloon. This measures 9’9” and has an L shaped couch, a 23” TV with DVD on top of a storage cupboard, a stereo (with speakers in saloon & dinette), a little storage unit and a diesel stove. This has its own separate 100 litre diesel tank.
Doors lead into the well deck. This has a cratch cover and the stainless steel water tank is under. There are seats / storage lockers either side with the diesel tank running across the front. The two 13kg gas bottle are in the forward locker.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel fired boiler, and this heats the water along with the engine or an immersion heater.
12v is from 3 domestic batteries (with Sterling battery management system) and 230v is from either landline, the 800w inverter / charger or the 3.5kw Travel Power generator. She also has 200w of solar power and a galvanic isolator.
She is a well loved boat.
